Sample Receiving, Holding, and Disposal

Unusual Samples:  Fees are quoted based on standard handling and preparation procedures. Samples that require special handling, preparation, or analytical procedures may incur additional fees. You will be contacted prior to analysis if additional fees are required.

Dangerous Samples:  To protect the health of our employees, we may refuse to receive samples that are dangerous due to their nature or the way that they are delivered. If samples that are deemed dangerous cannot be safely returned, they will be destroyed. If there is any question as to the safety of a sample, please let us know and we will discuss it with you.

Sample Holding:  We retain samples as long as possible, based on our available storage capacity and the length of time that the samples remain viable. If you have any questions about your results, we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible in case a re-assessment is warranted.

Research or Consulting Work

Under certain circumstances, we may be able to provide resources for laboratory work or for consultation. Please contact us to discuss your needs.

Warranty and Limits of Liability

Our warranty is limited to the accuracy of analyses of samples as received. We assume no responsibility for the purposes for which the client uses the test results, nor liability for any other warranties, expressed or implied, including warranties of fitness for particular purpose or for merchantability made by the client. These terms and conditions shall supersede any conflicting terms and conditions stated on any purchase order, or other order of work submitted by the client.
